SHA Residents:

The city's Transportation & Environmental Services Department will be redesigning the intersections of Duke & Cambridge (at Bishop Ireton) and Duke & West Taylor Run. They are offering the public the opportunity to weigh in on the the three design options. 

The first option is to keep the intersections and the service road that runs between them as is. The second and third options offer changes. Both would call for the service road becoming a one-way street westbound from West Taylor Run. This will reduce the complexity at both intersections.

You can decide for yourself, but those who live in Seminary Hill will most likely benefit from Option 3. It calls for a new intersection below the 7-11 drivewayon Cambridge. Under this option, you would drive straight south past BI to make a right turn without continuing on to the current intersection. On your inbound trip, you would access Cambridge at this new intersection.

The current intersection will be redesigned for outbound traffic only, seemingly simplifying the confusion and potential for accidents there.
